Proxima Drift

You wake after a 75-year sleep to reach Proxima Centauri, only to find it already colonized — not by any government, but by the corporate elite who caused Earth’s collapse and secretly built the technology to escape it, years before anyone else even knew it was possible. Confiscated on arrival and saddled with debt to the very people who beat you there, you’re free to build a life however you want: hauling cargo, mining asteroids, running missions, chasing rumors of something stranger out past the frontier.

The star map is real — actual known nearby stars, actual confirmed exoplanets, a galaxy extrapolated forward from where humanity genuinely stands today. Full mechanical depth in the tradition of EV/Endless Sky, plus systems of its own: a three-layer shields/armor/hull combat model, a real hunger and crew-loyalty system, and consequences designed to respect your time rather than punish you for playing.
